10 Upcoming Video Games Bioshock Fans Will LOVE
6. Ad Infinitum
Ad Infinitum was conceptualized prior to the modern gaming trend of returning to the first or second World War. First revealed all the way back in March of 2015, the game promised to add a supernatural element to the well-documented horrors of trench combat in the Great War.
Though four years have passed since it was initially revealed on Steam’s now defunct Greenlight service, there still isn’t much information about Ad Infinitum aside from a trailer showcasing a bizarrely tall wendigo-looking figure stalking a soldier through trench lines.
Unfortunately, the project seems to have gone cold, though it has yet to be out-and-out canceled. This looks to be a totally one-of-a-kind horror experience, and it would be a shame to see it canned after all this time.
Earning a spot on many top upcoming horror game lists, Ad Infinitum could definitely use some love from the Bioshock fanbase. With any luck, there may be enough demand out there to support the rest of the game’s development process. Plenty of similar games have been announced only to fall into total obscurity and never see full release, and, should the same thing happen with Ad Infinitum, it would be a total shame.
