10 Upcoming Video Games Bioshock Fans Will LOVE
4. Call Of Cthulhu
Aside from the original Xbox title Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth in 2002, there aren’t too many quality titles out there based on the stories of H.P. Lovecraft. Call of Cthulhu, however, is being marketed as the official video game adaptation of the beloved 1981 pen-and-paper RPG classic of the same name.
In keeping with the themes of the original tabletop game, players will be tasked with piecing together a mystery which may well send them to the brink of madness. Though there won’t be much out-and-out combat, players will instead need to rely on their wits and character building skills as they work their way through Lovecraft’s celestial miasma.
No one aside from the members of the development team knows if the Great Old One himself will be making an appearance, but, judging by the trailers and gameplay footage, there seems to be a ton of otherworldly content packed into the game for which mortal minds simply aren’t prepared.
Call of Cthulhu will release on October 30, and fans of the game may want to put down their detective hats and D20s and download this game on Steam.
