10 Upcoming Video Games You Won't Be Seeing On PS4 And Xbox One

1. Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 2Platform: PS3, 360, PC This is the one. This is the non-next gen game that is going to keep PS3's and 360's plugged in well into 2014. From Software's Souls games (Demon's Souls and Dark Souls) were arguably the biggest surprise of the seventh generation of consoles, baiting gamers across the globe into its masochistic hooks. The games revitalized that sense of challenging and unforgiving, yet fair and completely satisfying gameplay that had seemed to disappear from modern video games, and fostered a unique sense of community and camaraderie in its wake. Dark Souls 2 looks to evolve the concepts from the first two games even further, delivering an experience that will be more accessible to newcomers while somehow amping up the challenge even more. A world twice the size of Dark Souls, smarter enemy AI, an new engine, and a slew of brand new game mechanics (including in the multiplayer) should ensure that Dark Souls 2 will be every bit as all-consuming and masterful as its brilliant predecessors. In a year that is looking to be an absolutely huge one for next-gen RPG's with the upcoming release of The Witcher 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition, and the possible releases of Final Fantasy XV, Monolith Soft's "X", the fact that Dark Souls 2 should have absolutely no problem hanging with these big boys speaks volumes. So Prepare to Die again in March of 2014. What other PS3/360 games will be keeping your old consoles plugged in during the next year? Let us know in the comments below!
