10 Upcoming Xbox One Indie Games That'll Make PS4 Owners Jealous

6. Inside

Release date: 2016 From the dark, ingenious minds at Playdead (who also brought us Limbo), comes this downbeat 2D platformer. Much like Limbo, Inside has a sombre, almost monochrome aesthetic that weighs down on you, making you feel isolated and endangered like the game's child protagonist. Aside from the moody trailer below, Playdead have revealed little about this game, though it seems to be set in some kind of dystopian, authoritarian society in which twisted, miserable-looking people march off to work in vast Stalin-esque factories. It looks like stealth may play a part too, as in the trailer we see the protagonist hiding behind cover while flashlights seek him out. The game's been delayed a couple of times, but given how this could be another Playdead masterpiece, it will almost certainly be worth the wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op4G1--kb-g
