5. The Mini-Games Are Great

Truth be told, your writer had zero interest when it was announced AEW: Fight Forever would feature mini-games. They felt totally needless and clearly would serve zero purpose. Oh, how I was wrong...

While the mini-games don't particularly serve any purpose bar to get a few perks in Road to Elite, they are a whole bunch of fun to play around with.

When you start Fight Forever, there are only three mini-games available to you, and all bring plenty of entertainment to the table. Each of these will pit you against three other players - either human players or the COM - and feature several rounds of action before crowning an eventual winner.

As for the initial three games, there's an AEW trivia quiz, there's a chip-collecting game, and there's a magnificent dance-off game where you have to mimic the poses of Penta El Zero Miedo. On paper, these might not sound all that great, but they really are welcome short bursts of entertainment.

Progressing through Road to Elite mode allows you to unlock additional mini-games, which again promises to continue to bring fun to Fight Forever.
