10 Useful Video Game Companions That SUCKED To Hang Out With

9. Revali - The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Revali is one of the most important companion characters in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, given that he's one of the four champions tasked with piloting a Divine Beast to help weaken Calamity Ganon.

Also, he provides Link with one of his best abilities in the game - the updraft-providing Revali's Gale, which was depressingly absent in recent sequel Tears of the Kingdom.

But as incredibly useful as Revali is, it's tough to forgive the fact that he's just an insufferable a**hole throughout the game.

He's got a giant stick up his butt about helping Link, who he clearly views as inferior, and spends most of the screen time being relentlessly mean to him, giving off an arrogant, egomaniacal air.

If salt took on a living embodiment, it'd surely be Revali, whose smugness knows no bounds, enough that even his awesome character design and voice acting can't nearly compensate.
