10 Utterly Bizarre Video Game Covers You Probably Missed

4. Trevor McFur In The Cresent Galaxy

Trevor Okay now things are just getting weird: it makes sense that the Atari Jaguar would release a game about a jaguar, but you have to question almost everything else implied by this frankly insane cover: predominantly, why does he look so indifferent about everything around him? Both he and the lynx he's cuddling look like their heads were taken right off of Lisa Frank sticker book and placed over the heads of some generic hero and heroine picture, which they probably were. And that's not to mention whatever the hell is going on in the left corner with the photobombing skeleton. There's clearly an element of Macbeth here, with the names, and the element of over-throwing, though of course this universe's Duncan is not as benevolent, nor as unjustly overthrown. The game was awful, accused of being a rush job for Jaguar's launch, and there's good reason you won't have played it. Also, who calls a jaguar, Trevor
