10 Utterly Bizarre Video Game Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

5. Portal 2 - The Choir

In the grand scheme of things, Portal 2 is probably the weirdest commercially successful game that ever sold millions of copies. The puzzle format was irresistible enough on its own, but Valve decided to liberally sprinkle their game with the kind of personality that turns a good game into a great one, and which establishes a cult brand that most developers would kill for.

Part of that personality comes down to the game's Easter eggs, which are many and broad-ranging, from Doug Rattman's hideouts to Moby Dick quotes and many things in between, including the revelation that Turrets were marketed for use guarding infant cribs.

The best turret based gag in the game, and the one that is simultaneously pleasant and massively creepy to behold is the discovery of a quartet of singing turrets hidden behind a grate, who offer a haunting refrain for the discoverer.

Finding them isn't too difficult, once you know how, but their bizarre little tune will definitely follow you unexpectedly into your dreams...
