10 Video Game Abilities That Would Kick Ass In Real Life

7. Rewinding Time

The Ability: This feature was popularly introduced to games in the superb Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, allowing players to use the Dagger of Time to rewind their gameplay by up to 10 seconds if they found themselves in trouble, such as facing a difficult enemy or falling to their inevitable doom. The feature has since been used in racing games such as Race Driver: Grid and Forza Motorsport, allowing players to rewind a small portion of the race if they screw up a corner or get shunted unexpectedly by an opponent. In Real Life: This one speaks for itself, though should be differentiated from the save point mentioned earlier, in that it can only really be used to save you in the immediate period, where something has happened in the last 10 seconds. Still, it would be fantastic for the countless embarrassing things that can happen on a daily basis, such as slipping on ice on the way to work, farting on the bus, spilling food or drink, or just making a dumb comment that nobody laughs at. And of course, it's pretty good for avoiding catastrophes as well, such as car accidents and some drunk douche starting a fight in a club.
