10 Video Game Abilities That Would Kick Ass In Real Life

8. Statistics Menu

The Ability: Not so much an ability as a feature within games themselves. Probably the most comprehensive feature of this type is in the Grand Theft Auto games, where it will report not just how long you've been playing, but cool stats like how many people you've killed, and then ridiculously banal stats like how many feet you've walked over the course of the game. It's hilariously comprehensive and actually pretty addictive to read through. In Real Life: This one wouldn't provide any long-term personal benefit beyond being more aware of what you're doing. Imagine knowing how many miles you've walked in your life, or how many times you've had sex, and various other lewd statistics I'm not going to go into right now (but you get the idea). In addition, it'd be great fun to compare your stats to your friends and see who's doing the "best" at various activities. The irony is that this stat-checking would probably become too addictive, and you'd ironically become less productive as a result.
