Ring Fit Adventure was an exercise title for the Nintendo Switch, which required the player to use a Pilates ring called a Ring-Con, and a Leg Strap with one Joy-Con inserted within. To progress through the levels, you have to move the Ring-Con to perform specific abilities.

Despite the fact Ring Fit Adventure could've been a novelty, players were impressed by the intensity of the gameplay. Within ten minutes, you're guaranteed to work up a sweat.

Even though Ring Fit Adventure sold adequately at first, it dominated sales during the Covid pandemic. Because exercise facilities were closed during this period, people sought other means to stay in shape, encouraging consumers to purchase this game.

Although Nintendo probably expected Ring Fit Adventure to do pretty well, it sold nearly 15 million units, making it one of the most successful games on the console. The idea that this gimmicky game was outselling mainstream Mario and Pokemon titles is crazy!

But when the pandemic ended, interest in Ring Fit Adventure vanished. Because this game was way more fun than it should've been and gave players a genuine workout, let's hope it makes a comeback.
