10 Video Game Achievements You Literally Had To Die For

1. Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 And 3

The Simpsons Game
Sony

Achievement(s): Feeeed Meeeee!; I See London, I See France; Crash Cubed; Buzz Off; Warts And All; Keeping Crash Under Wraps.

This one covers all three of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy titles, with each game having two different trophies asking you to die in certain ways. It might not be asking you to die 500 times like others on this list, but it's one of the more entertaining series of deaths to go after and gets bonus points for running for the entire trilogy.

Some of them are fairly basic, like being eaten by a Venus Fly Trap or being killed by a swarm of bees. Others require very specific levels like being killed by a wizard's spell or a mummy after you've knocked it out of it's sarcophagus, both being in only one or two levels in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

The trickiest and most time-consuming is Crash Cubed, an achievement that can only happen while riding a polar bear that appears on two specific levels. It involves a lot of timing, forcing you to jump into an ice block as it's being lifted by two henchmen to fall off the bear. If that wasn't enough, you can only get the trophy if you then fly into a body of water and drown. Brutal stuff.

On a lighter note, 'I See London, I See France' makes you get electrocuted so your pants fall down... so that's nice.
