10 Video Game Boss Battles That Literally Hack Your Game

Super Mario RPG was ahead of its time. A beautiful constructed world, crafted around the loveable plumber which dominates the Nintendo franchise.

Bowyer - one of the many bosses invading Mario's world - is hellbent on breaking the game barriers to place the battle in his advantage.

Is there anything more annoying than being locked out of using an attack? Back when I was a diva on Guitar Hero, the wave of anger and frustration that flooded over me when one of the buttons refused to work was overbearing.

This boss in Super Mario RPG takes that concept and essentially uses it to create one of the cheapest boss fights as he turns the battle in his favour. It's enough to make you cry!

Using his deadly arrows, he's able to sling them towards you and block out many of your attacks. That flame attack you've been relying on? Not anymore!

By disabling skills you've relied on, it forces you to change up your tactics and use other tools at your disposal. It's a cheap way of doing it and finally delivering that final blow is extremely satisfying.
