10 Video Game Bosses Genuinely IMPOSSIBLE Without A Guide

9. Jinpachi - Tekken 5

FTL: Faster Than Light
Namco

Fighting games are known for their BS final bosses, especially in their arcade modes. But Jinpachi of Tekken 5 takes it to a whole other extreme.

Think M. Bison mixed with Shao Khan and hopped up on a cocktail of Bane's venom chemical and Ritalin and boom, you have your new talk at anger management next week.

This fight is the equivalent of taking on a pro esports fighting game player while you are still a newbie, and you kinda p*ssed in his cereal this morning so the esports player has decided to remind you of the pecking order. Jinpachi has got it all: stun cancels that interrupt any combo you have, combos that factor in multiple stun locks giving him the ability to trap you in a never-ending loop of pain, and like all cheap ass fighting game bosses, an easy to spam attack that insta-kills you if you aren't blocking.

The only way to actually win this fight is to either play it so many times that you become the god-king of Tekken and can beat him through the sheer power of your nerdiness, or - if you don't feel like headbutting that wall - look up guides and watch a lot of YouTube videos until you know exactly what to look out for.

This, as you can surmise, takes out the fun somewhat.
