10 Video Game Bosses Only Hardcore Players Got To Fight

Trust Bloodborne to have a boss that only hardcore players can find and face - it's just typical of FromSoftware to do it in a game that is already pretty darn hardcore! And that boss is the Moon Presence.

Now, to be able to meet this boss, you have to get and consume three of a particular item before defeating Gehrman, The First Hunter. Sounds easy enough, but the item in question is the Third Umbilical Cord, of which there are, bizarrely given the name, four in the game.

One can be gathered by defeating Mergo's Wet Nurse and another can be found in the Abandoned Old Workshop, but these are the easy two and both of the next two can be missed.

The third is dropped by Iosefka if she is killed after the Blood Moon rises and the fourth is dropped by Arianna's child if you sent her to Oedon Chapel.

But as previously mentioned, these need to be consumed before defeating Gehrman, so if you've forgotten to consume them, well, sorry, that's it, you can't meet the Moon Presence!
