10 Video Game Bosses Only Hardcore Players Got To Fight

God of War is a brilliant game, with excellent mechanics, which is good, because players will have to master these mechanics if they are to take on the Valkyries.

There are nine of them in total, spread across the nine realms. Each Valkyrie has her own special abilities and attributes, meaning no two fights are the same.

Oh, also they're ridiculously tough. Even tougher than Baldur in terms of difficulty. They all have a high HP and are also resistant to burn, frost, shock, weaken and rage, meaning that the fights can take quite some time.

The locations of the first eight Valkyries are revealed upon completing the main story so players would naturally think that defeating the eight would be where this side quest ends, but they are badly mistaken - a fact hinted at by the name of the place that Kratos must visit upon vanquishing these Valkyries.

The helmets of all eight are then taken to the Council of Valkyries by the Lake of Nine. Doing this summons Sigrún, the Valkyrie Queen.

Sigrún herself has every single move that the other eight Valkyries had, except for summoning, but all of her abilities are also empowered and do a whole heap more damage than they did in the previous fights. There's also the fact that she can kill Kratos in one hit, even on lower difficulties.

Seriously, only the hardcore would attempt to face this enormous challenge.
