What would a Star Wars game be without a Hoth level? Dating all the way back to Shadows of The Empire and even before, players have been saddling up in a T-47 Snow Speeder and taking on the Galactic Empire as they attempt to help the Rebel Alliance escape.

Though it wasn’t until 2015 with the first of the EA Battlefront games that an entire mode was constructed from the iconic sequence that blew many away. Now we could all live out this in stunning high definition on a variety of planets featured in the original trilogy, but when it comes down to it, Walker Assault was always best on Hoth.

In this mode, unless everyone is completely coordinated then those AT-AT Walkers will seize the day much like they did in Empire Strikes Back. So really here it comes down to a skilled Snow Speeder pilot and some backup from the ground as they circle the behemoth of a machine. Taking down an AT-AT like this is one of the best rushes in online multiplay one can have and is still quite a rare feat, with on 4.5% of players achieving this on Playstation at the time of writing.

Just a shame that players have to scramble for the Show Speeder vehicle token to actually get a shot at this and that EA basically ditched this mode in Battlefront 2.
