8. Toasty - Spyro The Dragon
Of course, Spyro the Dragon bosses don’t tend to be the hardest fare. Generally speaking, the reptilian rapscallion’s games are quite comfortable rides, not exactly dipping into Dark Souls territory.
Toasty is the original game’s very first boss, so it’s probably safe to say that nobody expected too much from the boss of the Artisan Kingdom. He sure offers a funny surprise, though!
On entering Toasty’s boss fight, the player finds him guarded by several pesky Shepherds and Sleeping Dogs. The villain himself is finally revealed: a tall, angry-looking The Nightmare Before Christmas reject with a scythe and pumpkin head.
Three simple flame attacks will see him off (once you can pin him down), as he dashes about in comical fashion. The best part is that he loses his costume towards the fight’s end, revealing that he’s actually just a sheep on stilts!
