10 Video Game Bosses Who Cheated To Win (And Still Lost)
8. Micah Bell - Red Dead Redemption 2
Micah Bell is undeniably one of the most hated characters in all of Red Dead Redemption 2. It's not that hard to figure out why, seeing as in the first half of the game he acts like a sociopathic jerk and in the second one he betrays his gang for personal gain.
The list of all the ways in which Micah cheats his way to success is too long to write it all down here. However, the most noteworthy of his tricks is probably the one that ultimately leads to his demise: his final showdown with John in the epilogue.
The final mission of Red Dead Redemption 2 is where all of Micah's lies and manipulations come back to bite him. When John comes to confront him about Arthur's death and his betrayal of Dutch's gang, the two get into a shootout, and soon after, Dutch joins in on the action as well.
Dutch is staying with Micah to work with him again, but John's sudden appearance causes a change of heart in him, and instead of teaming up with Micah, Dutch ends up killing him for you.
So ultimately, the final nail in Micah's coffin is the man he cheated for his own benefit. You couldn't ask for a more fitting ending.
