10 Video Game Bosses You ALWAYS Game Over On

1. Goddess Of Rot, Malenia - Elden Ring

With all honesty, you could likely put half the bosses in any Soulsborne game on this list, but the second form of Malenia, Goddess of Rot is something even Soulsborne veterans get jittery about.

As finely crafted as any other Soulsborne boss, she is one of the toughest on most peoples' lists thanks to her self-healing, ability to dodge throwables and non-homing spells, and her high level of aggression.

After you bring her down to 0 health, she will transform into her second phase - Goddess of Rot. If you thought her first phase was tough, then just tuck your head between your knees and kiss your butt goodbye. Now she's faster, even more aggressive, and naked.

Even if you're not distracted by the sudden nudity, the fact that she can now infect you with the Scarlet Rot doesn't make her any easier to fight. FromSoftware declared that, in the first year after Elden Ring's release, Malenia had successfully killed players 329 Million times, making her the boss who defeated players the most.

Not bad for an optional boss that not all players are even going to fight. Second place went to Margit, the first boss of the game that basically all players will contend with, taking out a modest 281 Million players.
