While most of the members of the Mishima family are ruthless, power-hungry, murderous curs - the once-patriarch of the family, Jinpachi, was a kind and gentle man, known for his honor and wisdom. He initially founded the powerful Mishima Zaibatsu and grew it to the mega-corp status it enjoys during the game's timeline. Jinpachi is only mentioned in most of the Tekken series, but in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection the truth comes out with his appearance.

Heihachi took over the Mishima Zaibatsu from his father, Jinpachi, and imprisoned the poor man underneath the family temple where the once-powerful patriarch starved to death. Cut to Tekken 5's timeline, some five decades later, and Jinpachi is resurrected by a demon who controls him and forces him to work toward gathering the strongest fighters in the world - part of a plan to destroy the whole planet.

The demon-infused Jinpachi is no slouch for a man who died fifty years ago. His moves are some of the fastest in the series, with powerful techniques able to hit quicker than some character's jabs, and a number of Mishima family-style juggling combos to boot. He can also shoot out a devastating fireball that can sap half your health bar and even has an instant "You're stunned" move, that's unblockable and hits no matter where you are or what you're doing.

Imagine how tough Heihachi must have been in his youth to have beaten this guy in the first place?
