6. Wayne & The Wankas - Conker’s Bad Fur Day
This delightfully crass game masquerading as a Banjo-Kazooie-type is known for its ridiculous boss fights. You literally fight a giant talking piece of poo at one point, what's not to love? But, one of the more persistent encounters in the game is the appropriately named wasp trio, Wayne and the Wankas.
You battle these critters after they steal Mrs Bee's hive and she asks you to get it back. After an encounter, she helps you blast them away with a machine gun - nice. Now, you'd think that would spell certain death for a wasp. But, these are tricky little critters, and this isn't the last time you'll see them.
Later on in the game, you return to Mrs Bee and find that her hive has been stolen again - she really should look into getting some home security. Thus, you enter the Wasp Hive to retrieve it, finding out that somehow Wayne and his buddies have returned.
Like before, they chase you down as you lead them to Mrs Bee, who once again obliterates them with her heavy weaponry. But, unlike last time, they stay down.
