10 Video Game Character Builds You Must NEVER Choose
2. Saints Row The Third - Zombie Voice
The Saints Row series has never shied away from tongue-in-cheek humor and poking fun at the many tropes of the video game industry. Though most jokes in the games are pretty harmless and don't tend to impact your time with them in any major way, there is actually one joke in the character creator that could be considered bad for your experience.
The characters in Saints Row: The Third can be given seven unique voices to give them more personality. There are three feminine voices, three masculine voices, and a zombie voice.
Yes, you can make your character "talk" like a zombie, turning each line of the main character's dialogue into a series of raspy grunts and moans. While it is certainly hilarious to hear your character mutter nonsene as someone is trying to have a conversation with them, on the other hand, it ruins the impact of the story. Because you can only understand one side of each conversation, most missions will lack context for why they're being done, and the really emotional and intense moments in the game will lose all sense.
The zombie voice is still fun, of course, but maybe not the right choice for your first run.
