9. The Walking Dead - Lee
In this game, you play as a convicted killer called Lee. On his way to prison, he gets involved in a car crash while a zombie outbreak occurs in the state. Escaping from his vehicle, he bumps into a little girl called Clementine. The pair meet up with many other survivors but the story centres around the relationship between Lee and Clem.
Since The Walking Dead doesn't have a reputation for happy endings, the player knows the story will end badly. When Lee gets bitten by a Walker in Chapter 4, the player realises his days are numbered.
Because the player can choose how to react to other characters, this makes Lee's fate more tragic.
You have to decide whether Lee tells his friends about his bite. You have to decide whether Lee cuts his arm off to try and stop him turning into a zombie. You have to decide whether Clementine puts Lee out of his misery or leaves him to turn into one of the undead.
The final chapter is heartbreaking as Lee desperately tries to save Clem, knowing for a fact he can't save himself.
