10 Video Game Characters Who Would Make A Great Superhero Team

7. Kasumi Goto - Mass Effect 2

As an entry Kasumi is probably a surprising one. After all, there are bigger names in gaming, and the hooded thief is not the most intimidating presence around. But what the team yet lacks is a hacker and infiltrator, and as Mass Effect’s most enigmatic example of both, Kasumi is an ideal choice.

That is not say she is bad fighter – nobody who participated in Mass Effect 2’s suicide run was – but, despite being an expert marksman and hand-to-hand combatant, Kasumi’s ability to turn invisible makes her better suited to the indirect approach.

As such, in combat her role will be to flank and distract, and when hostile tech appears (like a certain Iron Man) her job will be to shut it down or turn it against the enemy.

But it is outside of combat where Kasumi comes into her own. As a master of stealth and infiltration she will go where no one else on the team can and steal the enemy’s most valuable secrets. Aided ably by Snake, she provides Grimsdóttir with intel that would be impossible to secure otherwise.

Again, there’s not much limelight here but for black-ops types, that is the way they like it.
