Boc The Seamster is a helpful little demi-human, an Elden Ring's mix between a monkey and a human, who offers the player to tailor their outfits for them after they rescue him from his more savage and murderous cousins.

Boc is an incredibly humble and helpful fellow, but he has one fatal flaw: he thinks he's incredibly ugly. If the player talks to him about this, Boc will explain that he hates his demi-human form and that his only wish is to be reborn. He tells you that according to legend, Rennala (that annoying boss with the one-shot lazer beam) is capable of granting people a second life.

Naturally, most people want to help their buddy Boc, which is why once they defeat Rennala, they immediately tell him to go to her and get his long-awaited moment of rebirth. And this is usually the last they hear from him.

You see, after Boc is sent to Rennala, it turns out he was indeed reborn as a human, but something went wrong. His new form is incredibly pale, and he cannot speak to you. When you visit him the second time, he simply curls into a ball and dies.
