A long time ago in a decade where Star Wars wasn’t owned by Disney, the films weren’t always the best of quality, but the games of this era absolutely rocked. Possibilities were endless in the late ’90s and early 2000s with the expanded universe being able to offer a wealth of new interesting stories.

Now, this isn’t so much the case with everything having to be tied to the existing films and TV series surrounding them. Unfortunately, this really does shackle the games in some respect, but before that, we had the Jedi Knight series.

Led by Kyle Katarn, he might be everything a majority of Star Wars fans want from a protagonist. He was cool like Han Solo, wielded a lightsaber like Obi-Wan and had a dark past with the Empire. Oh, and he even got to work with a Luke Skywalker who ran a successful Jedi Academy.

Unfortunately for use those, Disney rendered this game redundant so we’ll never get the chance to see his story finished.
