8. Batman Arkham Asylum - Batarang Edition
The Batman Arkham games have had some pretty interesting collectors editions, but this was a pretty poor start.
As is the case with a lot of these collectors editions, the idea for this one is actually pretty great. This collectors edition advertised that you could own your very own Batarang, as well as a bunch of the usual limited edition stuff.
So what was the big problem then? As it turns out, the Batarang was attached to a cheap plastic stand that meant it couldn't be moved at all. The only reason anyone would really want to own a Batarang is to be able to mess around with it, or even to just be able to hold it.
Even for those few that just wanted to keep the Batarang on display, the thing itself looked pretty cheap and nothing like it was advertised to be.
Consider that this whole package was $100 and holy rip-off Batman!
