10 Video Game Deaths That Only Made The Characters Stronger
9. King Bulblin - Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess features plenty of bosses and antagonists, but none of them is quite as persistent as King Bulblin.
This massive goblin-like royalty is a fierce boar rider who first comes into conflict with Link after terrorizing the Ordon Spring.
Their initial encounter culminates with a jousting duel in which Link manages to shove King Bulblin off a bridge.
However, as it eventually turns out, just because someone is hurled hundreds of meters down a chasm, it doesn't mean you should assume they're dead.
Yes, despite his obviously lethal fall, King Bulblin returns to enact revenge on Link later in the story. This time around he comes equipped with shields mounted to his sides to keep himself more sturdy... However, his improved strategy doesn't save him from losing the second duel anyway and falling off an even bigger bridge over an even deeper gap.
At this point you'd think you'd never hear of King Bulblin again, but the green blob returns yet again, only this time he no longer rides on his mount, being dethroned and ridiculed by his kind.
Sheesh. Even when he's down, he doesn't give up!
