10 Video Game Developers No Longer Making Games For YOU

9. 2K Games

RIP Bioware
2K Games

What They've Done: American sports games, Prey, The Darkness, Bioshock, Borderlands

What They're Up to Now: Broken WWE games, broken sports games, the same ol' Borderlands...

A relatively new company when compared to the veterans on this list, 2K hit the ground running in 2005 off the back of all the sports licenses they bought from SEGA.

This in turn led them to publish some absolute titans over the years, including Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Spec Ops: The Line, both the Bioshock and Borderlands series', as well as many more.

In keeping with the sports side of things, 2K took over as publisher of the WWE titles following THQ's closure in 2013. And for a time, things were going swimmingly for the publisher.

But then...

Well, same thing that happens to most companies that get greedy: games get rushed or sent out broken, and of course, rinsing people of more money via microtransactions and lootboxes.

Whilst the company still promotes Borderlands as a cash cow, the primary focus is on wrestling and sports. Except that focus must be blurry if the last two respective titles are anything to go by.

What's WWE 2K20 like now, anyone? Still horrifically unplayable?
