10 Video Game Difficulty Modes For The Criminally Insane

1. F-Zero GX - Story Mode On Very Hard

I am not messing around when I say that F-Zero GX is without a doubt the hardest racing game I’ve ever played. It requires razor sharp reactions at even the lower difficulty so you can only imagine what’s in store on the very hard mode.

If you were to tackle the Story Mode on this difficulty, then you better strap in, because this game's gonna strap on something very nasty and unpleasant and make you cry out for a wet nurse.

he story mode changes up the usual blistering races by offering you challenges to complete on new or redesigned tracks, and they are next to impossible. The first level challenges you to collect items while racing and while that sounds simple, you’ve only got three laps to get them all AND if you complete the race you’ll do so with a second to spare. That’s the FIRST level. It’s bloody nuts.

By the end of this experience, you’ll be not only a broken wreck, but quite possibly learn to be one of the best F-Zero players out there, which makes it all the sadder when you know NINTENDO’S BEEN SITTING ON THIS IP FOR AGES AND WON’T PULL THE BLOODY TRIGGER. Anyway, that’s a story for another time.
