3. Cuphead - Pacifist Mode

Now let it be known I have a huge love for the old Cuphead. The game is about two things - running and a gunning - so imagine my surprise when I heard about the pacifist mode which challenges you to bear the game without killing any enemy outside the bosses.

I tried it and it drove me goddam mad. Not being able to shoot in a game which conditions you to kill everything on sight lest it molest you is teeth-shatteringly frustrating, as is coming up with ways to get around the usually impassable mini bosses.

It’s the one mode on this list which requires you to technically do less, but after completing it all I wanted to do was punch someone in the f*cking face. Now that's hardly pacifism, is it?
