The Fallout series is another set of games well-known for the utter madness of their universe. Pretty much every single entry in the Fallout franchise has had some kind of reference to extraterrestrial lifeforms, mostly in the form of easter eggs, but Fallout 3 has taken this reference one step further and turned it into a fully fledged DLC.

In Mothership Zeta, the Lone Wanderer is abducted by an alien race called the Zetans and has to escape their spaceship along with a group of other abductees.

Along their way to freedom, they'll encounter all kinds of different people, such as an Edo period samurai or a no-nonsense cowboy, and uncover a range of secrets that will shed some light on the enigmatic aliens of the Fallout universe.

Aside from the DLC's clearly unique setting, the gameplay of Mothership Zeta is a pretty fresh concept as well. The player will have to work with other captives in order to escape the ship, learning their quirks and strengths in order to make your cooperation more effective.

On top of that, you get to fight with other alien spaceships and spacewalk on top of the mothership, just to nail this alien experience.
