10. Kratos God of War Series
Why Hes A Douche: Kratos is a very bad man by todays standards. Part of the elite Spartan army, Kratos is fuelled almost entirely by bloodlust and a thirst for vengeance. He killed so many innocents in his service to Ares the God of War that he barely noticed as he murdered his own wife and child. What a bad douche! Even with his anger turned against the Gods there are certain moments throughout the franchise where you cant help but think Jesus Kratos, what was the need on that?! Case in point; turning Hercules face into demi-God pudding.
Why You Love Him: Despite being a colossal douche throughout the entire series, Kratos is also phenomenally bad ass. And for the most part, those that feel his wrath probably deserved what they got. Probably. Kratos is a modern gaming icon and rightly so. Despite being a generally nasty individual, he realises his sins early on, and turns that villainous bloodlust onto the corrupt beings that made him. Admittedly, Kratos pushes the antihero archetype to its far extremes but still, its hard not to admire a guy who doesnt take any shit, even from a group of Gods.
