10 Video Game Endings That Pissed EVERYONE Off

6. Any Ending But The Almost Unachievable Good Ending - Batman: Dark Tomorrow

If you're a WhatCulture fan you might have remembered a video we did on terrible endings for great video games.

Now, this one wouldn’t have made the cut for that list because not only does the ending of Batman: Dark Tomorrow suck, the rest of it does too.

This 2003 action-adventure was panned for its controls, missions, wild camera, honestly just every little thing, it would be faster to tell you about the things that didn’t suck. But instead of doing that let’s talk about the awful ending everyone hated, for those who made it to the ending at least.

The issue here is that there is no way of knowing what you’re supposed to do to get the good ending. As in, the game doesn’t tell you nor even hint at the essential objective. Unless you’re using a guide, you’d be hard pressed to interpret that you’re supposed to disarm a particular signal before taking on Ra’s Al Ghul.

In the high likelihood you get a bad ending either you get Batman killed, the world is flooded killing a tonne of people, or in an exciting turn of events both of those things happen. Great.
