10 Video Game Enemies EVERYONE Hates

If there's one thing that still haunts me about Mass Effect 3 (aside from this much memed ending) it's the horrifying shriek of the Banshee enemies as they arrive on the battlefield.

With their swollen bellies, grotesque elongated appearance and their deafening screech, it's very easy to feel overwhelmed when they step into the fray, but just looking like a chewed dog toy is far from their worst feature as the Banshees are a bane to any Mass Effect player, especially those who took the fight online to the games quite brilliant multiplayer.

You see while they might look slow moving at first, they use a sort of "biotic hop" in order to close the gap, meaning that targeting them is a complete pain. And you'll need to land every hit because their Armour and Barrier ratings are incredibly high meaning that can take an entire squads firepower and come out still looking to slice you up.

Which they will do instantly if they get too close, as a grab by a Banshee is an instant death kill. It's brutal and will flush teams out of cover and into other enemies fire with...well....Mass Effect.

Is it any wonder why these are so detested amongst the fanbase?
