10 Video Game Franchises Netflix NEEDS To Develop

Any post-apocalypse series requires a big budget. Thankfully Netflix have the cash.

The market for more wasteland drama is in demand but with a very narrow and niche window. Everything needs to have something that separates it from its challengers, and for Fallout as a series it would be the games' sense of exploration.

A fun thing about Fallout is the small communities, mini-missions and random happenings that go on. There are through-line narratives for each game, but really it's about exploring and questing the rotten and decomposed landscapes of America.

This would be a wonderful Netflix mini-series where each episode focuses on our wandering lead(s) encountering a new colony/community and helping them with their problems, or occasionally running into marauders and mutants.

The science-fiction elements of Fallout are advanced, but given the setting and environment they give off an obsolete feel to them also. This would be a unique setting for Fallout to occupy in the apocalypse drama world. In a stream of shows where sci-fi is polished, Fallout throws in just the right amount of rust to provide variety.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
