What Everyone Says: "Mobile games aren't real games. Angry Birds is more app than video game."

The Angry Birds franchise has enjoyed more than 3 billion downloads since its initial 2009 release, and despite being successful enough to have its own movie, it's still a game most "serious" gamers don't care to talk about...even though they're probably feverishly addicted to it.

Angry Birds fever has swept the world and enjoyed tremendous popularity for its simple yet challenging gameplay mechanics, yet it still hasn't managed to shake the mobile game stigma, that these titles are only played by commuters desperate to kill time on their way to work, or when you're waiting at the doctor's office.

Try and find a seasoned gamer who will honestly admit to being hooked on Angry Birds. They're quite the rarity.
