4. Unreal Tournament

The original Unreal Tournament stands as one of the greatest FPS games ever made; Epic Games could release an HD remake of that game with an enhanced multiplayer suite tomorrow and wed slam down the cash for it right now. The sequels, though throwing in exciting elements like vehicles and an even more insane array of weaponry, largely existed as simply prettier versions of the same game, not doing enough to justify each sequel, especially as far as the last game, Unreal Tournament III, goes. Its been 5 years since we had an Unreal Tournament game, and we want another; though some gorgeous screenshots suggest that something is being worked on with the new Unreal engine, we havent a clue exactly what it is. We can only hope that Epic is opting for a grittier, more violent Unreal Tournament, focusing on the chaos of online play and introducing some much-needed new match types, rather than relying on the same tricks.
