10 Video Game Franchises We Really Don't Need More Of

1. Lego

Assassins Creed Origins
Traveller's Tales

When Lego tie in video games first hit the market; we all went completely crazy and invested in pretty much every title developers could churn out. The licensed properties were all massively popular series (Harry Potter, Star Wars etc) and the possibilities were endless thanks to Lego's immense versatility.

However, now that almost every major film series has had a Lego tie-in video game (or loads), fatigue is setting in as almost every single Lego game is the same stuff on a different day.

In brief: characters have certain abilities, player needs to collect studs, gold bricks and minikits and go about unlocking a huge roster of characters.

It's gotten boring and it really needs to stop; especially now that Minecraft dominates the digital, creative building market and other licensed tie in games are improving.

Game over Lego. You have no lives remaining and even the Konami code can't save you now.
