10 Video Game Franchises We Really Don't Need More Of
2. Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed is a series that has peaked and troughed more times than a heart monitor, and that's entirely down to the developers trying to do way too much to way, far too quickly. It's been ten years since the first game was released and alrady we've had (including mobile and handheld titles) eighteen Assassin's Creed games.
The only other thing we've ever had to suffer 18 of is Halloween movies (I think) and we're not exactly enamoured with them anymore, are we?
Face it, the concept was great at the start and the first sequel went down pretty well too ,but are we nearly finished with it yet? What more can they do?
Ubisoft have made a lot of games (like Prince of Persia), dragged a high profile actor in a film no-one liked (like Prince of Persia) and intend to 'slow down' on releasing titles for the time being (like Prince of Persia) - maybe being exactly like Prince of Persia, pausing things would also be a good idea?
