10 Video Game Franchises You Won't Be Seeing For A While

Half Life 3 confirmed? Far from it.

As funny as the memes and jokes are about Valve's inability to make a game with the number three, the truth of it is that they really don't seem interested in making games at the moment.

Valve haven't released a proper game in years, and that doesn't seem like something that's going to change any time soon. With all the money they're making out of Steam, they don't really need to rush into developing a game unless they really want to.

Out of all of Valve's franchises, the most likely games to get a sequel would have to be Left 4 Dead and Portal. Both of those games have had a sequel rumoured for some time with genuine evidence. Left 4 Dead 3 has even been spotted in code several times.

Half Life 3 is nothing more than a hopeful joke at this point.
