Baldur's Gate 3 has so many items with so many different abilities that it only makes sense some of them would complement each other better than others. However, what may not make as much sense is that the most powerful combo of this sort includes a certain joke item.

The Reverse Raincloak is one of the junk artifacts that the player receives from the Djinn at the circus in Act 3 for losing his rigged wheel game.

The cloak does exactly what it says—instead of protecting the user from water, it makes them constantly wet.

On its own, it doesn't really sound too useful (even downright harmful if you come across someone dealing lightning damage), but this joke feature of the cloak secretly makes it one of the most powerful healing items.

You see, if you combine it with the Wavemother's robe you get for aiding the priestesses of Umberlee, the constant wetness of the cloak enables the robe's healing abilities. The robe heals 1-4 hit points whenever you're wet, so as long as you wear the two items, you get infinite heals without having to use spells or rest charges.

The Reverse Raincloak might be a joke, but its healing capabilities are no laughing matter!
