Collectables are part of most video games. A selection of various objects hidden throughout the levels, finding all of them is an extra objective that players must undertake if they aim to fully complete a game.

Bloober Team's Blair Witch is one such game that has plenty of things for curious players to hunt for. Dog tags, psychiatrist notes, spooky photographs, and even pieces of rubbish are all things that completionists should be looking out for as they make their way deeper into the eerie depths of the Black Hills Forest.

One collectable you shouldn't pick up, though, are the wooden dolls located throughout the game. This is almost impossible, however, as the first of which is found in a hard to miss spot at the very beginning of the game. Players will even get an achievement for picking it up, suggesting that they're doing the right thing.

What the achievement doesn't tell you is that collecting this doll has already put you on the path of getting the bad ending before the game has properly begun.

It turns out that the malicious witch of these woods wishes to manipulate you into doing her bidding, and collecting these dolls are part of her evil plan.
