10 Video Game Levels We Hate

1. Legend of Zelda: Occarina of Time - Water Temple

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u42ht4qwjrY Yes, we hate water levels that much, and it's primarily because of this absurdly, excruciatingly difficult level in what is otherwise Zelda's best outing to date. The sheer litany of commands you have to perform to get through this mission is tiresome and frustrating as it is - lowering and then raising the water, playing a song, killing enemies etc - such that it almost makes replaying through the game a grim prospect. Even if you've memorised exactly what needs to be done, it makes for an extremely dull, uninspired section of a great game; it is easily the weakest, most boring dungeon in Link's adventure, and another which we wish they would just cut out for any future re-releases. It wasn't even very difficult, it was just confusing - given that every single room looked the same - and tedious, plus the swimming mechanics were not very well thought-out (sort of key given that it's the water temple), and having Navi whinge at you every few minutes didn't really make us look upon it anymore favourably. Terrible. What other levels do you despise? Let us know in the comments below.
