10 Video Game Levels We Hate

2. GTA: San Andreas - Supply Lines

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Dtpia-apns Few games have had us wanting to smash our TV to bits, eject the game from the console, and break the disc over our knee as much as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. And it's all for one reason; a mid-game mission called Supply Lines, in which you have to fly a toy plane around the city, hunt down a number of couriers, kill them, and then fly back to base. Sure, it doesn't sound that hard, but add to this a brutally unforgiving fuel limit as well as a time limit, and you have what is bar-none the most ridiculously impossible mission in the entire series. To make it even worse, the flying controls are terrible, meaning you're likely to hit various objects like lampposts and end up crashing to the ground, wasting both time and fuel. It felt like the developers wanted you to suffer; the number of times I got all the kills out of the way, but missed out on returning to base by a few seconds made me (temporarily) want to never play the game again. After a good 3 or 4 hours, I finally managed to do it, and though it was a moment that felt tantamount to winning Gold in the Olympics I fear the stress of those hours has shortened my lifespan considerably.
