7. Batman: Arkham Asylum - Killer Croc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWhBnlBthVw Batman: Arkham Asylum remains one of the best achievements of this generation, a stunning game that is arguably the best licensed video game title ever made. However, that doesn't make it without a few nagging flaws, namely the terrible boss fights, specifically that one against Killer Croc. Right from the start of the game, when we see The Joker strapped into a chair, the game builds up Killer Croc as this impossibly large, hulking, fierce enemy who would be a major challenge for Batman, but when you finally get to fight him, the results are underwhelming to say the least. Once you get into the sewers, Croc spots you, runs at you, and with a well-timed batarang throw, you knock Croc into the sewage, and that's it. The rest of this "fight" is running around Croc's sewer maze, collecting spore pods ad nauseum, and it's all the more frustrating because not only did Croc seem like a total badass, but he is steeped in a mighty comic book lineage that just isn't done justice here at all.
