7. Why Is Nazeem Homeless If He's Rich? - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

One of Skyrim's most memorable -  and detestable - NPCs is Nazeem, an obnoxious and arrogant Redguard citizen who professes to be sublimely wealthy, despite the fact that he and his wife reside in a small upstairs bedroom in a pokey tavern, The Drunken Huntsman.

So, why would someone rich choose to live without a permanent homestead?

Nazeem did originally have a home in Skyrim, but it was ultimately cut from the game, presumably due to time constraints. The abode, Wintersand Manor, is partially featured in the game's files, and would've been situated at Chillfurrow Farm just outside of Whiterun.

It's certainly a home reflective of Nazeem's apparent riches, and makes far more sense than Nazeem just camping out at a tavern as in the main game.

Thankfully Skyrim's glorious Cutting Room Floor mod restored the cut house to the game, though honestly, seeing Nazeem's welcoming home just might make you hate him more, if that's somehow even possible.
