10 Video Game NPCs Whose Lives You RUINED
8. Lindsay And Mr. Cuddles - Fallout: New Vegas
Look, nobody is asking you not to be a bad guy in a Fallout game. It's tons of fun, and sort of relies on you opting to do the worst stuff you can simply for the joy of being evil.
But there's a line in the sand. We'll all blow up Megaton for cheap kicks, but there are enough evil deeds you can do that you don't have to do all of them - especially ones that even a villain would think twice about.
There are precisely two events that should make you uncomfortable to carry out; making Mr. Lopez jump to his death in Fallout 3, and telling a child her bear has died in Fallout New Vegas.
Yes, the first example is more extreme, but it also fits in with the more extravagant evil a bad karma character would do. Telling a kid her prized lost teddy is dead, though? Come on, man. You don't even get a reward for doing that.
Cannibalise as many people as you want. Send the wasteland into an unending war. But for god's sake, let Lindsay have Mr. Cuddles back, you can kill some people to make up for doing a "good deed" later.
