To keep the streets of Kamurocho clean, Yakuza member, Kazuma Kiryu, has to pummel every miscreant he comes across. While the self-proclaimed Dragon of Dojima is being wailed upon by scores of thugs and rival gangsters, he needs all the help he can get.

Fortunately, Kazuma can use power-boosts to permanently increase his health, slow down enemy attacks, or jump into third gear heat from the get-go.

But you better think twice before equipping the Charismatic Autobiography. Because of this book's popularity, everyone is desperate to get their hands on it. Not only will baddies home in on you if you equip this bio, they'll attack you more aggressively.

If you read the Charismatic Autobiography's description in the inventory screen, it warns you that the masses will kill to get a copy. Sadly, most first-time gamers dismiss this claim, assuming it's a mere exaggeration.

Only after they've been beaten to death umpteen times do they decide it would be safer to unequip the book. Because the biography doesn't give the player any helpful bonuses, there's no reason to keep it once you realise how much of a detriment it is.
